Hey does anybody know whether its possible to install knoppix and have it dual boot with windows on the same hard drive? *

Naturally. Windows is just another OS. Look into Lilo Grubconfig to set you up nicely. Besides, if you have any FAT32 drive space it's fine to tuck away your user data if you want to run from CD *

If you do want to install it, leave 10 gig or more unallocated by shrinking your Windows space first. The installer wants to find the spare space itself.. *

Thanx... I'll try that. I'm just scared to lose my windows data, I've got alot of work saved on it, but I guess I'll back it up... :) *

Yup. When partitioning the trick would be to think ahead. Does C: have spare room to hold the D: data? That's what I did. Job one would be to get another drive though. *

I had a 80gig drive on which I installed linux previously, but I kinda blow it up with one of my pc's. Silly me... *
